New Resources!!

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) now requires that rigor and reproducibility be addressed in select research grants. In addition, a formal training component will be required for NIH-supported training programs in the near future. To address these new requirements, the CHOP Offices of Postdoctoral Affairs and Responsible Research Training have developed a summary of currently-available resources and information.

 


Federal Requirements and Institutional Resources

 Top-quality scientific research requires both rigor in the design and conduct of research and the ability to consistently reproduce research results. To promote high standards in rigor and reproducibility, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) now requires that rigor and reproducibility be addressed in select research grants.

  • Research Grants and Mentored Career Development Awards (effective January 25, 2016)
  • Institutional Training Grants, Career Development Awards and Individual Fellowships (effective date to be determined)
